2009 Canada-China International Children’s Painting Exhibition and Prize Award Ceremony

The 2009 Canada-China International Children’s Painting Exhibition and Prize Award Ceremony were held on November 28^th, 2009 at the Scarborough Civic Centre. The events were co-organized by the Ontario-Jiangsu Friendship Association and Jiangsu International Cultural Exchange Center. The Honourable Jim Karygiannis, P.C., M.P., Dr. Raymond Cho, Toronto City Councillor, Mr. Ping T. Tan, executive co-chair of the National Congress of Chinese Canadians, Dr. Julia Li, president of the Ontario-Jiangsu Friendship Association, and Mr. Jeffrey Farber, principal of Bond International College, together with the judges of the Painting Exhibition, teachers guests, and about a hundred of children and their parents attended the prize award ceremony.  15 distinguished children were presented with awards and souvenirs by the VIPs. The Ontario-Jiangsu Friendship Association presented Creativity Certificates to all works that were selected to the Exhibition.
